Lumsden: Haste Ye Back!

An exhibition of works created as an artist in residence at Scottish Sculpture Workshop in Lumsden, Scotland. All works are inspired by walking and what is found along the way as I moved in and out of the Scottish landscape. Specifically, most works utilize the broom flower, which is a yellow flower that was in full bloom at the time of my arrival to SSW. I was able to bring all works back with me to the States except “the Arch of the Broom” which can be seen in the film footage. This exhibition is meant to display the beauty of Scotland but also emphasize the calm that comes with walking through the landscape.
